Hi. i have this problem, and there is no doubt in my mind that other have the same. My Junior season just ended. i was on Varsity, and our team was stacked defensively. i was about 6 on the depth chart. (we had 3 close D, a pole, and one kid who was god, but the coach wouldnt play). as a result of this, i will not have any quality film to send to coaches, because the only time i went in was in blowouts, and then the ball wasnt on our end alot. i want to play in college(not club), and i want to know what i should do. i think i have the skills to play at a mid-level DIII school, but w/ no game tape, its just me doing some talking which i cant back up. what do i do? send tape of summer league and fall ball? do i just walk on and hope? or is there some other way. HELP!

hey, i know exactly where you're coming from. i'm a pretty good attackman, i would definitely start at any school in the area, except the school i go to, because my grade just happens to have 3 really amazing attackmen, putting me at 4 on the depth chart. obviously, you have to work hard in the offseason to improve and get a starting spot, but since you will be a senior, coaches won't really be able to look at game tape from your senior season. your best bet would probably be to send fall ball tape or tape from games if you play on a summer team. hope this helps and i hope you get some looks from coaches.

u should go to college showcases to get noticed, and/or play on a select summer team, and play in tournaments also, trust me my sister did it this way and even though it might be different for girls i bet it could work for u too, she will be playing DIII next spring.
