ive dyed several (4-5) eclipses, a nemesis and more goalmasters than you can count, and ive never seen anything even vaguely like that.

that is um.. very scary..you hang out with people like that?.. LOL
well.. yeah. if it really does do that then my guess is that he put it in acid at a rolling boil... actually, if the water is too hot then the held will lose a bit of structural integrity. that is why manufacterers void warranties when you pinch your stick, they become weaker over-so-slightly when heated then cooled.
dye the head red, and with the mesh or watever stringing you put in there die a target-like dye. you know, the circle within a circle within a circle. this one friend on mine did that to hers and its amazing at how much of you attention it grabs which causes you to involuntarily shoot more in that direction.
or just use other weird designs to catch people attention. someone on this board uses a pink eclipse with neon green mesh.. i forgot who it was.. but just do something odd. usually stay away from plain-ness...

nope, i've heard it's illegal too, but who knows? that would be cool though, pink and neon green, you'd be laughing at the kid thinking he was queer until he pulled out the best goalie skills you've ever seen.

yeah, just do something eye catching... that always helps on goalie sticks.. usually the uglier the better.. kinda like ^^^ :agree

We played a goalie who had this weird neon orange head+mesh, it was sooo ugly. A nemesis. He kinda sucked tho, only made some easy saves. Oh well. =)

So can you die mesh two colors? I was thinkin navy blue with a red "bulls eye" in the middle (school colors) with sorta splash/fade on the head using the same colors and some white.

mesh must be all one color
A.R. 18. The mesh weaving of a crosse must be of one color. Any attempt to mislead an opponent, such as painting a ball, etc., into the weaving is illegal. RULING: Unsportsmanlike conduct, three-minute non-releasable penalty.

but what if u have a target and its not misleading at all?
i have lots of people saying they have seen people with happy faces etc. on there mesh.
well i guess i wont dye my mesh
ohh well
LatinBabe

well.. i cannot say that rule is ever enforced here.. i see multi-colored mesh almost every game i'm at...

katy, the rules may be different for Wlax, or maybe the refs dont know or care.
personally i think a keepers pocket should be a bright color something that keeps the shooters looking at it
LatinBabe
05-18-2004, 09:46 PM
well.. its probably the dont care aspect. girls lax is so small in Tx that many of the refs do not want to discourage too many players from playing. not saying they arnt strict on safety or technical rules, but the area of the crosse is a bit vague come stick check time...

bah, i guess ill use a red mesh piece and navy sidewalls, shooters, etc. Then my stick would still be like a bulls eye since our uniforms are navy or white depending on home or away.

Not that I would do this, but what kind of container would you use in order to dye a goalie head? I personally would like to know what would fit vertically?
