How to tape a new stick? (Revo Pro)

Well, I am about to get my revo pro in the mail and was wonding how to tape it. My old stick has horable taping and grips bad. I have seen shafts with 5 inches at top and bottom and middle, or 5inches at top and bottom with 1 strip of middle and much much more. I was also wondering how many layers of tape I should use. Pictures are greatly apreaciated, thanks a ton.

I don't use any tape, execpt on the top of the head. I just wrap it around about 3 times. At the bottom, I have a permanent butt and theat grips a little. I do not like to use tape because it makes it slower to switch hands. I love to do split dodges so No tape=good for me. It is a personal preference so go crazy with it.

I usually put tape about 3 inches below the throad and 4 inches from the bottome of the shaft . I only use 1 layer of tape

i usually put some tape on the bottom near the butt going up a couple of inches, put some 12-13 inches from the bottom of the shaft so i know where to put my top hand when shooting and passing, and then i put some tape right below the head for one-handed cradling!!!

Thanks guys, definetly good advice, I personally have never seen anyone play in a game without any tape, I might try that or maybe withoout middle tape. I'm not sure, but thanks for the help, I'm still curious as to more options for taping.

thats all the tape I have and need. It tops the raddling from the head and shaft and gives a little grip for cradling.

i put about 5 inches at bottom of white hockey tape, then wrap over it really tight with electrical tape, and do the same 4 inches at the top of the head.. gives me WICKED feel.. As for a knob, i put a bottle cap, tape over it and then wrap nylon around the bottom to give it a really nice knob..
But yea just try different things to find what you like. Then once you find something you can still tweak it to make it work even better for you!

its all up to you. whatever feels best. you might want to make sure its legal to tape your head first because we all found out it's illegal in our lg right before our first game and about half the team taped their heads. =\

I use one inch just below the throat, 1 inch about one foot below the throat, 1 inch peice 12 inches below that, and one inch just above the butt

i have 2 inches at the top, 3-4 inches for a shooting grip, and a little holding on my brine butt end on

cover the butt with about 2 layers and rap tape on about 1/2 inches thick at the bottom of the pole...than rap tape 8 inches up the stick

The idea of electrical tape seems the best, im gunna try it, thanks guys.

i make a thin 1/4" knob with tape then just tape it normal up like a foot...because it slowly becomes shorter and shorter haha. Then i make another knob for my hands, and then tape the throat down like 4"
