dying question (container)

what is the best type of container, pot, etc. to use for dying. i would assume something metal, at least if you're not worried about staining the container. but if i was to use a big metal pot from the kitchen, would the dye stain the inside?

i never did that when dying because i was afraid of theat i use a big plastic tub in the backyard. Its a perfect sizee.

dye the stick in a disposable turkey pan, you can get them at safeway really cheap. make sure it is big enough to put the stick in but if it is too big then you will need alot of extra dye. When you actually boil the water and mix the dye in I used a big metal pot and i washed it as soon as I got the dye out and it didnt stain

i do what ben does. take the head with you, because they come in several sizes, and some are too small.

i also do vertical dyes in a 2.5 gallon spring water container on its end, with the spigot end cut off
