Im looking to purchase (from Jimalax) materials to make a custom pocket. My questions to any Jimalax buyers are:
1)Do the leathers come with the hole (to wrap around/ fasten with)
2)What spool should I buy (Is crosslace nylon?)

(The tutorial requires these materials)
**Materials needed:
1 Unstrung lax head
4 Leathers
1 64" piece of nylon
2 55" pieces of nylon
2 45" pieces of nylon
2 Sidewall strings
And whatever number of shooting strings you like**

I want to make this pita pocket:

Yes crosslace is nylon, its thinner than sidewall, its used for leather stringing. And The leathers do come with 2 slits near the top to attach the leathers to the top of the head, but they dont come with slits at the bottom to tie off strings.

yes, crosslace is the nylon that you will need. the leathers come with the slits pre-cut. thats all you will need(plus shooters)

i like the white crosslace the best. the colored is too wirey. and yes the leathers are cut and ready for use. dont foget ur topstring so u can remove the pocket.
