What do you do in a box fo?
We have to pull straigt out and can't clamp or anything like that. Does anyone know what to do and what you can get away with?

Our faceoff the refs put the ball in between the two players pockets and you have to pull it back. It might be different where you are but thats the way we do it. I also asked about if there was a clamp FO for us and they didn't know. I guess its different in box compared to field.

Thats the way we have do do things. I was just woundering how to increase the win percentage on the fo. In field it's all about clamps and stuff like that but how do win a box fo?

It took a while but I've gotten better at faceoffs. There isn't much you can do in box. Being faster just means that the ball gets fired out of the circle. After that it's just another loose ball. What our team has been doing is trying to stall out in the draw. It has worked fairly well but someone that has been doing faceoffs for a long time doesn't have any problems with it. Other then experienced FO men, stalling works about 90% of the time.
