Yesterday i was junior coaching at my high schools camp...i was very patient w/ all of the new players, but this was pretty funny.....me and my friend set up a butt-to-butt drill and when we said "go" this little kid starting pushing his opponent onto the ground and falling on his legs, then he grabbed the ball and put it in his stick....it was a lot like a wrestling match...my friend kept saying "No, thats illegal..." the kid didnt know any better but it was still funny
anyone else have some funny stories?

This isn't supposed to be funny, but watching the kids get hit with the balls because they don't know how to catch yet is pretty hilarious. I'm a bad person, I know, but I can't help it.

Yeah, that makes me laugh sometimes. I was watching the little guys before my clinic started yesterday and they were scrimmiging. Only one or two of those kids could catch or throw well. The rest of them kept throwing really bad passes or dropping the ball. Also, there was one huge kid compared to the rest who didn't even know how to use the stick and just ran around mowing kids down. However, they are beginners so I can understand the lack of skills, but really, it is kind of fun to watch sometimes. After their practice I tried to help some of the ones I saw were having a really hard time, but these kids are going to have to hit the wall.

Coaching lil kids I have seen some pretty funny stuff, the most memoriable is when two kids that like to hit each other helmet to helmet in line got stuck together and took like 10 min to get un-stuck. I couldn't help but laugh

There is this sick nasty 7 year old at camp. He has an orange Torque. He can catch, throw, cradle, and shoot pretty well. Think how good he will be in a few years. Also, yesterday, during a scrimiage it was a tie at the end it went into "bravehart"(for those that don't know, its 1 v. 1 with goalies, first one to score wins) and each team put a little guy in there. Our teams little guy pwned! I think it was a great experience for them.

Coaching kid box, cups come flying out on occasion and skid across the cement. Then they scurry after them to pick them up in embarassment. Worst part is they try to hand it to you to fix (Sorry, go to the dressing room and fix it yourself or ask mom or dad)

I just like watching them in general. Always cracks me up. They look like little storm troopers from star wars with oversize helmets.

my dad runs a youth clinic and i love going before it and just checking kids sticks out of their hands from nowhere.

When I come early for my box games, I usually see the little kids scrimmaging. Its so funny when they try to pick up the ball. They roll it to the boards then scoop it up and use the boards as support. Also when they "throw", all the coaches move out of the way so as to not get hit. Pretty funny to watch the little kids play.

One the the little guys on the Novice team just walks off the floor when he sees his mom, when your reffing you just kinda laugh as he tries to get to her and they tell him he has to stay on
