i havent seen any of the ones you have listed. i have one of jon's no rebound 1s and i like it quite a bit. i also think flips pocket would probably be really good too. when i played goalie in college, my pocket was traditional and i did a similar thing to channel the ball to the middle.
let us knwo what you chose and how it works out

i wouldnt pay someone to string you up a sick pocket. just sit around this summer and try some different things. i have a mesh x-ish setup in my stick right now.

Decided against space commander, it would take tons of readjustment after every game, and plus after a couple really hard shots id have to readjust

what makes you think that? my all traditional goalie stick didnt need much adjustment, certainly not after every game, maybe if it got wet, or something like that.
i'm just curious

the no rebound is terrible for the money no pocket at all, i get my strung up by a kid in mass. does an excellent job, charges like 25 or 30 bucks...he did up one of Paul Spellmans stick once. Tho...the space commander looks sick lol

spenny--i guess i was just assuming, cause i was considering how leather and nylon would stand up to continuous 50 mph shots if not harder. I string short sticks but i dont know much about goalie pockets so i want to have this pocket for a long time withought adjustments, like a permanant pocket. You have trad. goalie sticks? How did they hold up?

i dunno but am i the only one here who strings his own sticks, i mean, sure i have people show me new and creative things but mostly its all from days of sitting at home watching a college game wishing u were playing right then and there lol

yes, it never was a problem, mind you college was a few years ago, but i dont remember spending any time (certainly not a lot) keeping it in shape.
i've only played goalie a couple of times since college (ive gone back to my natural position close D) but ive played with mesh each time. ive had to messmore with mesh sticks than trad sticks over the years.
i'm actually messing with some new goalie pocket ideas right now, i'll let you know how they turn out. i'm also waiting for the guy who runs our youth program to get me a couple of the old goalie sticks (goalmasters) and i;m going to string one of them in traditional and give it to my goalie to see what he thinks

Nemesis, could you get me a pick? I'm sending my nemesis in for a replacement (toook a shot off the scoop and stuck it in the ground in one motion and SNAP) and im gonna mess around with the stringing in the one i get before summer lax.
