hey am looking at getting a new shaft

just wanted to know which one is best taking into account weight and strength etc, have done some searches but have only found bits and pieces of info on each one

i play middie and have a bionic head at the moment so am not overly worried about wieght, as long as it isn't similar to a breeze block!

the choices are (mainly due to costs, only want to spend about $40)

warrior platinum cu31
stx axe c405
krytolyte c405
stx sensicore c405

i'm leaning towards the sensicore at the moment..........

or is there another shaft that i am missing for my budget (used shafts are fine as long as there not too banged up)

thanks guys

If I were you, I'd spend a little more and get a db803. They have a really nice strength-to-weight ratio for a good price.

This is also a preference thread which will most likely be closed.

Spend a litte mroe? The DB803 is cheaper than the STX Axe C4O5. I would get the STX C4O5 sensicore. I have it and si a great shaft. Really strong too.

it could be deemed a preferance thread but i wanted to know facts, which is stronger which is lighter and therefore best one out of these and if there is a better one i am missing so i can research into that one too, any more 'points of view'?

I would say the k-lite and the worst is the cu31 strenth wise.

I'm not sure how much they are, but I think it would be in your price range. See if you can find an old F-15.

yeah on the thread about stregth to weight ratios the cu31 is 82,000 and c405 is 89,000 in strenght so i'll probably go for a c405, still leaning to sensicore but krytolyte and db803 do sound good too.......

An old F-15 classic grip would be good their strong and i seen a used one at a store for $25 just alittle scratched up.

Axe c405. First gen if you can find it. Light and strong. Good shaft. Wow. No complete sentences. Weird.
