I have been using my Intrepid for about 2 years now. And I felt like making a review on it because I cant find any on it. So lets get started.
Pinch:
The Pinch on the intrepid is comparable to the triton. This stick is good for low-pockets due to the pinch. It starts out pretty tight but widens very quickly. Not much else to say about the pinch.
I give the pinch a 6/10. I just like a more pinched head.
Scoop:
How I love this scoop!! It isnt as curved as say a Torque, but the scoop is more curved than most heads out there. Those of you who like 1 handed scooping will like this head. Since the scoop is curved, lip is pretty hard to get out, but thow in 2 nylon shooters and your ok.
I give the scoop an 8/10
Durability:
I can't comment on this because of my playing level. I am in a 6th grade league, not HS. If another person who has used this and is in high school can comment on this, that would be great.
As someone who as seen these on the HS level, they have crappy durability. But other than that, for the price, it's a decent head. You're better off with a Trition though.
Weight:
This is a stick fit for Gigo's noodle arms weighing in at about 4.8 ounces.
This isnt as light as some new heads, but it is light.
I give the weight a 8/10
Stringing:
Ahh, the stringing possibilities. This head has a lot of stringing holes. On the sidewall, it has 15 sidewall holes and on the scoop, it has 12 holes. Quite a lot. I personally didnt like this for mesh. It just gets too confusing with all of these darn holes, but for you custom users, this head is your dream head.
I give the stringing a 9/10 for custom users and a 7/10 for mesh users.
Offset:
The offset on this head is weird. About 1 inch down the head, it curves down but near the scoop, it curves back up to a straight head.
I give the offset a 7/10
Flexibility:
I really did not like the flexibility of this head. It isnt as flexible as an answer, but it is flimsy... Not good for defense.
I give it a 5/10
Overall Rating:
Overall, this head is pretty good. The pinch and flexibility have a lot of room to improve, but this head is a "bang for it's buck"
