Well my i was in my friends room looking at his old lacrosse sticks, and he said i could have one if i wanted. I spotted a black shaft in the back. it says its made of carbon fiber. its called a Warrior Vortech. It looks and feels like crap. have u guys ever heard of it? good? bad? we broke one of his old warrior shafts in half after about 8 or 9 hits with the Vortech to it.
is it worth using? i'm getting a STX Scandium shaft anyways.

so you snapped a warrior shaft with it in 8 hits? i have never heard of it. i guess carbon fiber is supposed to be pretty durable. i know my brother's hockey stick is made of carbone fiber...

i looked around online it says it weighs 8.5 ounces so if you want a heavy shaft go for it. Its kinda like one of the original composite shafts, id see what other shafts he has

That looks a bit like one of those Titan pro kevlar shaft. In fact I think it is wrapped in kevlar. I can tell because in the second pic there is a thinner part at the top where the head goes. That is the only part that isn't wrapped in kevlar

its not kevlar and it does not get thinner

Yea, it just looks like it gets thinner, but thats actually the inside of the shaft. Its not kevlar b/c it says it is carbon-composite, which is not kevlar.

If I were you, I'd take it. And then sell it to this guy on TLF named the Wister.
Hahaha, ok, has anyone else been paying attention? Let me get this straight: your friend had a bunch of shafts and said you could have one. You saw a crappy looking/feeling one called the warrior vortech and proceeded to smash ALL of his other shafts. Seriously, after I thought about this I couldn't stop laughing for like a minute straight. So basically, you only have one shaft to choose, because you used that shaft to destroy all of your other choices. Why you would've broken a bunch of shafts when you could have sold/used them is beyond my comprehension.

In my opinion it looks like the Krypto Pro Kevlar's older brother. If you like it use it. Plus you can't go wrong if you got it for free!

my friend has it. its real heavy... personally i didnt like it just because the head to shaft weight threw my ball control off.

I'll give you ten bucks for that.
Seriously, it looks like something that a collector might want. Fancy, and the label looks new-ish.

You should e-mail a warrior rep about it. They would know. That looks cool.

its not kevlar, its full carbon fiber, look at the end pic, those sidewalls are thick, yet still pretty weak.

I would want top play who's shaft breaks first with my STX Titanium Custom Box. My stick is a tank if any of you gys saw the pics in my thread about it.
I've challeneged 3 Harrow Monster's and they are all scared I'll break there stick. I really don't think I would play, but its the fear factor that makes me happy.

cuz a heavy metal stick feels more solid in my opinion. i wouldnt care if you snapped my monster because of the lifetime warrenty.
