Lacrosse in the south is growing in the south and getting more competitive by the year. Even though maybe 5-7 kids out of the whole south as in Ga, AL, Tenn, Miss, Fla, S. Car go D1, do D3 colleges even look at kids around this area. Even at major tournaments when they see that a GA is playing do they even bother to watch? Because I really want to keep playing in College but even if I am good enough to play in top 20 D3 will I still be looked at in these major tournaments or should I just go to a camp, because I cant just sign up for the choice camps.

Does anybody know good camps that are recruiting camps that arent "choice" or "elite" camps?

Ya i think if you are good they will find you. I play for team carolina and of the seniors that played last year 8 or 9 of them went on to play d1 and the others play for d2 and d3 power houses including salisbury. So just get yourself out there go to some blue chip camps maybe top 205 or some tournement camps.

Hey long stick Im trying out for team carolina next year. What school to do you go to? And any tips on what to do to help me make the team? Im going to be a junior next year and Im Cannons and TSL right now so I can get recomendations from them. And ryan if you want to get noticed then send some letters to some schools that you are intersted in. If you think you are just d3 material then send some letter to those schools. They will listen. If you are on travel teams then tell them where you will be and when you are going to be there.
