Review for Triton
Price: $115 CAD
Offset:
Medium offeset, not too much for a beginner, but enough for advanced players. Overall good
8/10
Pinch:
Mhm. Not much of a pinch, a good middie head, but attack should think about pinching it a little. I personally don't like the amount of pinch, i'd rather it have more, but it is not terrible
7.967/10
Scoop:
The scoop on the triton is way better than its sibling the intrepid. The scoop is really wide for easy pick-up and also curved so it goes in, and doesn't fall out
9/10
Stringing:
SOO many possibilities, the two tiered string holes make for unlimited possibilities! Mesh is very easy to string, and customs would be too. With 13 sidewall holes on each side and 8 topstring holes anything can be strung, and it is great or a beginner stringer.
10/10
Flexibility
Perfect, just the right amount of flexibility, i bought this after my intrepid broke, and this has held up well. If you push firmly at the top of the head, it will shift about .75 of an inch
9.5/10
Weight:
At 4.7 ounces, a very light head, good on a light field shaft, and a heavy box shaft.
9.5/10
Durability:
After my intrepid snapped in two places, i upgraded to this, it has lasted 3/4 of a box season, and about 70+ face offs and no sign of breaking
I don't really know how it will do in the long run, but judging how it is standing up now
9/10
Overall
With unlimited stringing possibilities it is good for the master stringer, and advanced player, but with a medium offset and pinch it can be used for a new player
9.25/10
My camera is out of battery so no pics for now sorry
