ok, after watching the Denver man up, and being very impressed, I decided to make a slightly modified version in a 2-2-2 set. In the picture please note the broken lines represent the path of the ball, blue lines represent the path of the player, and the red line represents shots / looks.

very confusing play for the defense but it is a quick play
a lot of picks
it looks like the guy with the ball sets a pick unless he passes to the back first

here is the way I see it if this makes any sense. Tell me if im right or not.
-going from left to right I will label the top three players A1- A3 and the bottom three players M1-M3
-Penalty is called on the defense.
-M1 starts with the ball at the top of the box.
-M1 passes to M3
-M3 passes to A3 then sets a pick while A3 runs back to the top of the box.
-Meanwhile while A3 is running to the top of the box A1 and A1 switch places while M1 and M2 switch places.
-When A3 gets to the top of the box he can either...
1- shoot
2-Pass to A1 who shoots
3-Pass to M1 who shoots
And that is my understanding of "Denver"
your right i thought m3 had the ball still

Ya it took me a while to figure it out but when it comes down to it, its actually a pretty good play that should work. The only downfall is it will definatly take a long time to teach to an entire team and individual players what they have to do and where they have to stand.
