View Full Version : Favorite Shaft Brand (Updated)
Warrior

Well we have the favorite head thread in the sticky so here goes with the favorite shaft thread... So have at it!!! I also made threads for the favorite shaft made by each brand. Here are all the links. In some of these polls i had to leave off a few options because we are limited to 10 options for the poll so i had to leave off a few options, things like the F-Series or the Fatboy, which are not in production still.
Brine (http://www.lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?t=50813)
Debeer (http://www.lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?t=50816)
Euro-Lax (http://www.lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?t=50819)
Gait (http://www.lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?t=50818)
Harrow (http://www.lacrosseforums.com/showthread.php?t=50823)

first to vote...well, i'm gonna have to give some mad props to Harrow.
they make a mighty fine product.
edit: i would also like to give some props to Maverick, 'cause i'm sure that hardly anyone is going to vote for them, but i like my Wonderboy a lot.

If we're going by what used to have been, Brine by miles. If were going by whats out now, I'd say STX. Their new line of stuff has been really impressive, and i hope next year won't let me down either.

I have to say that this year stx, brine and warrior have all came out with some great shafts this year, but i gota go all out with stx. They've come out of their shell this year to make some great shafts, between their strong light titanium shaft to their increadibly light scandium, and the technology of the crankshaft, i have to say that stx has some of the best shafts out their and i don't think they'll disappoint for the upcoming years~

Brine because of the F-Series. Even though they discontinued the best lacrosse shafts ever invented, I still love Brine for making them.

...not the serpents arnt that grand...i snaped on if half in a game today with a titan classic
warrior, u might wanna add VooDoo
deBeer, hands down. deBeer 7000 Triax, Gorilla, well, all their older shafts and all their Canadian/Box shafts are beastly.
The Shamrock R705 is probably the most awesome shaft in terms of durability ever. Legendary, even.

deBeer/Gait, Orange Crusher. You just can't mess with Titanium Enhanced Alloy. It's definately heavier than Harrow, but it will go through a stack of them like a wood splitter.
I have no idea how you guys can use that light stuff. It's like handing out a beating with a twig. Swing a tree.

although serpent makes nice sticks, warrior got my vote....my Kpro criss cross is my child and I love that thing! They make a good variety of products, from low end to mid end aluminum alloys, light yet strong "hydrocrhonic alloy" (the kyrptos), and their top of the line ti family.

i vote harrow, they're ethier straight or (vary rarely) broken plus they are quite a bit lighter than wood. :agree:

You can't go wrong with a Kryptolyte, Krypto Pro, or Krypto Pro Diamond. All of them are good shafts, and I have used them at one time or another.

If you mean one like my crooked arrow then by all means swing that tree, otherwise get off my lawn with all this ti/sc alloy stuff. You want to lay a real check use wood.
I would vote but crooked arrow isn't up there, but if those are my choices Brine for the already mentioned f series and they still make hickory shafts.

Get a platnium series shaft its so light and durable

07-14-2008, 03:01 PM
there should be a poll about what kind of shaft if there isnt one already. all these companies are essentialy making the same products so a poll asking.. titanium, composite, c405, scandium, etc... would mean more

I really like STX and Brine. Honestly, I don't have a preference between those two.
