I know there are threads like this already about age and recuriting, but none really answered my question.

I am basically a newcomer to lax, i lived in ny city before where lax is not very big althou there are some teams and now i moved to syracuse. I have started playing lax, this was my sophmore year. I played jv lax and playing summer league right now. next year i wil hopefully be playing varsity (but won't get much time beacuse there are a lot of seniors). Is it too late for me to get recruited for lax, if it is could i just think about being a walk-on.
Is there still a posibilty to be recruited by teams in your senior year.

no its definitely not too late...with a good summer after your junior year you can still go just about anywhere, but you better work your butt off to get good because to attract attention you gotta be SICK. you're lucky you will get to improve against good competition...try to get as much PT as possible you will need to send game film.

yea, i am probabbly playin for JD red rams next year, as of right now there r a crap load of players better than i am. plus over 2/3 of the team are seniors. My hope for next year i condition myself enough to get myself into 2nd line middy spot. I originally play attack thou.

yeah im going to be a freshman and ive been playing for like 2 years coaches dont notice you, unless your really good. This guy i know has been playing for 5 years i think and he aparantly was wanted to play highschool varsity lacrosse in 8th grade, so really you could get noticed young but only if your super good. Finally look at some people who start playing in sophmoore year and they still make it maby not to D1 but still they make it.

oh yeah does anyone know any camps for freshman like that wont cost that much because besides going to state and reginal tournaments i dont know how to get my name out there

my suggestion is to go to alot of college lacrosse camps junior year like cuse summer camp princeton summer camp cause all the coahces are there watching the player and they might just look at you i hear colgate is like a recruting camp like coaches from all over the country come to look at the players.hopethishelps good luck!
