Penalties

I just came home from the New Jersey Shootout tourney.. We lost 3 out of our 4 games. All of the 3 games we lost my 1 or 2 goals. We have two hotheads on our team the collectively get about 5 or 6 penalties a game. On these man down situations it has costed us 1 or 2 goals which caused us to loose... How can i. as a player, try to calm them down a little bit so we dont get as many penalties?

I have someone on my team like that the best thing you can do is show them what they are doing wrong and show them how to check legally. And tell them how much less playing they will get if they keep getting penalties

subtlely blame them. liek get to the topic on defense, be like watch cutters blah blah, dont get penalties. person a and b, why do you always get so many penalties. that costs us 2 goals a game.
