Weight isn't a really good barometer for fitness (I assume that's what you're looking for). For example, my coach is roughly 5'4-5'5 and by these charts, he'd be obese. But actually, he's jacked, a marathon runner, and benches 300+. Although body fat % isn't a great barometer either, it's one of many alternatives to determine if you're in shape/fit or not.

I'm pretty sure you have to see a physician to find that out.

yea i always thought that would be cool like they take fat of a fat person to make them skinnier and add it to a skinny person to make them fatter

it really doesnt matter how much you weigh for you hieght, some people are heavier some are lighter it doesnt matter all that much just go out there kick *** and try your best. It is not a good indicator because i am like 5'7, and 185-190. Im athletic, 4.7-4.8 40 and i work hard in the wieght room. it really doesnt matter all that much especially in lacrosse

Here's a site with a weight and height chart.
http://www.healthchecksystems.com/heightweightchart.htmGood website, I'm really glad you found that. No, it's a terrible chart to use. That chart was created by a life insurance company. They criteria they used is 'weight w/ the lowest mortality rate'. Life insurance companies lose money on clients who die early and make money on clients who live a long time; therefore, that chart is based on what the insurance company considers desirable.
A much better chart/calculator to use is this one.
http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/body.htm
lol im 13 5'8 and 125. Im underweight for women.Using the calculator above, your BMI (Body Mass Index) comes out to 19, which is right on the bottom end of healthy *for an adult*. Considering you're still an adolecent, you're probably well within healthy BMI for your age.
OK, I just found this BMI calculator for kids.
http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/bmi-calculator/CC00043
And it says healthy BMI for a 13 y/o boy is between 15.7 and 22.2. So there you go; you're well within recommended BMI.
i am very underwieght. Im six foot one, 14 years old and, 139 lbs.
lol i lost a lotta weight139 lbs on 6'1" is very thin, but using the calculator above, your BMI comes out to 18.3, which is still within healthy BMI for your age.
Weight, BMI, body fat%, etc - each one by itself is simply a statistic that tells one or a couple things. Don't overinterpret them. What's important is too take several different measurements and look at the big picture. For example, you could have a guy who looks like the picture of good health: athletic build, healthy weight, good BMI, low body fat, low resting pulse rate, looks like a Men's Health cover model. But same guy could also have high blood pressure (aka hypertension) and high cholesterol levels.
So don't stress out the weight & BMI too much... unless you're a girl. Because if you're female, if you aren't thin, then nobody will like you.

Exactly--if you're a few pounds above the target weight (according to the ratio), you can just induce vomiting to knock off some of those extra pounds. (joke)
