View Full Version : material of heads
do you prefer the stiff plastic like on matrix or the weird rubber stuff on warrior finalizers. whats the difference? does the finalizer crack less or something?

ive heard that warrior heads are made of cheap plastic, i can especially tell with the blade, helps for faceoffs a lot.
ya they are flexible. but my matrix is cracked all over and i dont think ive ever seen a cracked warrior head.

i concur... i see more warriors break than any other head...
do you think a nitrous would be a good alternative to a finalizer then? or would an stx profile be better?(never seen a profile)

I swear up and down that Warrior and Brine are made with inferior plastic.
I've cracked both types with a crisp pass, more than once.
Up here, if someone uses STX, its the Box model, so I've only seen one of those break.
Have never seen a DeBeer or Mohawk broken.

I remember my select coach telling me it only costs 2$ or something to make a head but then they jack up the price to 100$. I also can tell the difference beetween Warrior and Stx heads, stx heads seem sturdier(sp?) but i still love my finalizer.

Yeah, I love my Finalizer too. It doesnt cost a lot to make heads. So they are creating a huge profit. But I still love my finalizer even if its overpriced.
