Alright, who all is going to the goalie camp in Springfield, MA? I'll be there as an instructor.

I'm going next year. What other goalie camps would you reccomend, if any?

The only other goalie camp I'd go to would be Pilat's. Though I don't like the straight up and down technique he advocates, he's a great teacher nonetheless. I learned a ton from both camps.

How did everyone like it? I heard a few good reviews already and wanted to know if anyone else had some input. If you didn't recognize me from my school, I was one of the coaches at the reaction drill - behind the softball dug out and before the video taping session.

I went to Pilats by West Point NY that week. How would you compare the two camps? Sounds similar with the rapid fire and video taping! :bartmoon:

which reaction guy where you?

that drill was kind of insane.... absolutely no time to actually make the save... but both the coaches seemed pretty chill.

overall i thought the camp was pretty awesome, learned a lot. I would have enjoyed more sessions to work extra with the instructors and less goalie seven's but thats mostly just my personal preference.

anyways i was the guy from NFA (red and white helmet w/ wildcat helmet stickers) who isn't very small or obese.

NFA!!!

I was the shorter coach. Did you win the world championship?

As for the extra work, the coaches would stay around as long as kids liked. I know that I worked with several goalies for a couple of hours after sessions ended.

i went to the 20-23 session. goalie sevens would be better without the five second five step rule.

im the kid from florida

Yeh, they came up with a winter camp near Orlando in mid-January. I'll find out if they're having another one this winter.
