So my dad recently cancelled our gym membership and got this:

I was all like WTF since now I have to rework my entire excercise schedule.
Seeing this as a way to turn a new leaf I decided to do this workout plan since I don't have to wait 15 minutes for Bob from accounting to get his disgustingly sweaty hands off my freeweights.

REVISED WORKOUT: 23eworkout.xls 17.5 (KB) (http://filesocket.com/download/23eworkout.xls)
Thoughts? Comments?

Note: I know nothing about effective body building so yeah. And this thing is nearly impossible to setup for squats. Honestly. Its worthless for legs.

Just so you know machines are for the suck.

But they are good, but go free weights... you know you could probably return that and get a bench, bar and some plates and then be able to do legs and upper body eh?

Machines do too much of the work for you, and don't work the stabilizer muscles... I can do at least 25% more weight on a BowFlex than free weights.

Oh, the workout seems good... but for the crunches everyday... don't just do 50 and stop. Do 2 sets of 25 but really slow and hold at the top... so you get alot more out of each crunch and you still do 50. I find when doing 50 flat you lost form past 30-35 and they stop working your abs

I only do like 200 crunches a week or less and I have a pretty good 6 pack when I cut for summer. I dont really like machines but on top of that bowflexs seem to uneven resistance like from the bottom to the top of the lift the resistance isnt constant.

BTW your workout is crap and will lead to overtraining quickly.

Yes I know I would rather have my gym pass. My dad already said no to this, but i figure for the next 2 months...

enjoi, you should go to www.bodybuilding.com and go to their forums. It's like tlf for body building. And have you set that machine up yet? My dad bought me something similiar to that two years ago, it's not even built yet.

Instead of having two leg days, I would take one away and use it as a rest day. I think that's what franks meant when he said you'll overtrain very quick. For my workout, I usually get 2-3 rest days a week. I also don't run on leg days. My legs are just to fatigued, so nothing is really getting accomplished.
