ok here's my situation. ive been lifting for a while so i know what i am doing. But anyway, Yesterday i trained my chest and shoulders, but today my biceps are the only thing hurting. and the wierd thing is, is that they are more sore today than they ever have been after a bicep day.
anyway i trained with these exercises
bench press
decline smith
incline dumbell
dips
peck deck
military press
side lateral raise
so there is realy nothing that could have hit my bi's at all, except peck deck and mabe incline dumbell. If anyone can mabe explain this to me so i can tweek my routine, that would be awsome.

I have a few guesses,
1 - maybeit is not your biceps but your anterior delts that are sore.
2 - did you do back and/or biceps day before yesterday? sometimes I get more sore two days after a workout
3 - maybe you were bending your elbows when you were using the pec deck.

Maybe your bi's are stronger than any other muscles (tri's, chest, back, etc) when you do your bench presses. When yo do compound excersies whatever muscle is the strongest, lifts the hardest. I'm assuming you used a bar and not dumbells though.

well, i know its not my anterior delts, cause those hurt too. Its my short head on my bi's, i have a fealing it was because of the peck deck but, it hurts soooo bad. and ,, i dont think your strongest muscle lifts the bar, becuase that would defy physics, its not under tension. Also, no i didnt lift the day before yesterday. my back and bicep day is today, thats why it sucks soo bad.
but yea, do you see what i mean, its fricken weird, there isnt realy any good explanation for it.

my next guess would be that dips were where it happened, no solid reason, but with the way your shoulder moves during the exercise and the way your bicep attaches, I think it seems like a possiblity. did you use a longer range of motion or add weight to your dips?

muscles being sore after workouts is usually pretty normal....sometimes it actually shows that your workouts are having a good effect on you. just dont over due it. dont workout that muscle the day after again, give your biceps time to rest for a day or two and work on lower body. dont get the wrong idea from what i am saying, if your muscles are in massive pain, you should contact your doctor. but what doesnt kill you makes ya stronger.

you missed the point, he did a chest/shoulders/tricep workout and his biceps are sore, he was trying to figure out why
