Need Help! Beginner!

Hey i just started playing and messing around and i was wondering what is the best type of equipment( helmets, shafts, heads, string). Also i see a lot of experienced players that have crazy stick handling and i was wondering what do you do in order to get that good?

as far as mesh and stuff goes, i'd say that traditional hard is the best bet for ya.

and as far as getting sick handles goes...

practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, oh, and did i mention practice?

it's the only way to get truly better. you just need to work at it.

i went from a sub on the jv b team my freshman year to a starter on varsity my sophomore year in high school because i worked a hell of a lot over the summer.

just work buddy and you'll be fine.

and btw, this thread is probably gonna need to be modified with the whole, "which mesh should i use?" thing because that's what we call a perferance thread.

you won't truly know what's right for you until you try 'em out. and no one can tell you what you'll like.

your second question about how to get sick handles is ok though..

yeah re phrase it to say "im a beginner and i dont know what kind of gear to buy what did you start with" i dont know that sounds terrible but you get the point i think

and if you just starting get an stx av8 or a gait icon and you can leave the factory stringing then just get some one who plays lax to break in a pocket for you and you should be set for a season or two

yeah...or a warrior revolution with like an alloy 2000 or something...that was my first stick...
