It's nice to see, but we need posts (and not the ones that balls bounce off of).

I'd like to make a sincere "thanks" post.
Over the months since the Goalie forum was disbanded, many respected people tirelessly asked for it back. We were usually met with the same answer: sorry, but no. This addition to the forum is not only extremely helpful for young and inexperienced goalies, (I know from personal experience) but it gave people with similar mindsets and goals a chance to meet and discuss certain aspects of lacrosse that only they really understand. Goalie is a truly unique position in lacrosse, the only position of which there is only one. It is also the only position which you cannot be made into. Any other position requires skill, dedication, and athleticism, yes, but goalies must have a certain mental aspect which isn't as necessary for other positions. Because of this, goalies usually relate to each other and understand where each other are coming from. This is why it is important to have a goalie forum for a group of individuals who have never necessarily met, but can still understand each other's point of view, questions, and opinions.
Thank you.

Yay from me as well.
Question though - do all goalie posts belong in here, including equipment, stick doctor and training, or just general goalie questions?

I would just go ahead and put all in here, simply for the sake of it being goalie-related in some way

we will eventually figure out what works best where.
In honor of the reopening of the Goalie Forum, I would like to take a moment to quote TLF member Garor's signature.

i can't help but be suspicious that all the non-goalies are secretly plotting this so they won't be bothered by us posting goalie stuff in their silly "non-goalie" forums....it's like segregation.....but it's still hella sweet
