Just starting out! What gear did you start out with?

Hey i am just starting to play and i was wondering which stick, head, mesh, gloves, pads, and helmet i should get to start out with. My friend gave me a Brine f10 aluminum power grip shaft with a brine blaze head that has soft mesh on it. He wants it back but i was wondering which stick i should get and will i be able to play for a while with it?

well i would recommend this. Save up your money and buy quality equipment. Dont go out and buy cheap stuff because it will only add up when you have to replace it.

I would recommend getting a decent mid level head such as the answer and putting it on a DB803. They are both reasonably priced and are an amazing bang for your buck

A great stick to start out with is a Gait Icon head on a Gait db6000 shaft. It will last you at least a season. Then when you are sure you are going to play for a long time and that you like it, buy a mid level stick like an evo on a platinum alloy. Then put the icon as backup. As far as stringing, i would use hardmesh.
