that doesnt mean its legal.
just like speeding and not getting a speeding ticket doesnt make exceeding the speed limit legal.

I didn't think it had to be perfectly clear. I thought the ref just had to see your eyes. So like a really light color would still be fine.

yes it has to be clear. One of my d-men was wearing it and had to go out of the game to take it off.

Here's an idea though. If you don't like looking into the sun, look into getting the Nike contacts. I used them all season as well as this summer and they are pretty amazing. Besides the fact that they pretty much act like sunglasses, they look pretty intimidating as well. So, if you want to get something legal, try-out the contacts. You don't have to get perscription ones and usually the first pair is free (trial).

They don't really help the ball "pop out" I guess, but it's seriously like wearing sunglasses. I am in love with them and wear them whenever I go outside to play. I never have to squint or try to some how block the sun any more. I can just focus on the game without worrying about the sun getting in my way. I would definitely recommend them, especially since most people get the trial pair for free anyways, so it's worth a shot.

I wear contacts, are they like a prescription?
O, and for the sun getting in your eyes, just wear eye black it helps alot and its perfectly legal.

Trust me, these work 1000x better than eye black will ever work. I mean eye black helps, but nothing in comparison to what these contacts will. I don't think I'll ever go back to eye black, the affects are so minimal compared to the contact lenses.

The contacts though, you can get them prescription if you need them, or they come clear and unadjusted. So pretty much I believe anyone can wear them if they want.
