You could redo it, and then put a sealer on. That way, you'll get the cool look, and wont chip as much. Or, you could shell out the cash for a new CPX facemask (chrome, of course). But, I'm not really sure if you could buy a new one. If I was you, I'd shoot cascade an e-mail asking if you can buy a new facemask. If I was you, I wouldnt mention that you tried spray painting it.

spraypaint+lacrosse=bad. always. it looks cool for the first day, then it gets touched and the whole thing falls apart. i remember me and my friend spraypainted our heads and shafts and it was horrible scraping the paint out of every groove.

Just a word of advice. . .
spraypainting your equipment is about as good as coloring it with a sharpie.

You can't buy a new face mask. Cascade wont sell you one as then you will fiddle with your helmet and might (if you are a complete 'tard) put the mask on wrong, then sue cascade

I've spraypainted facemasks for hockey with decent results. I just used Tremclad primer and rust paint. It's held up pretty good.
Now, I had a mask that was already sanded down to the bare wire when I did this, so with the primer and a few coats of paint, I got a great bond........I wonder if Vin tried to paint over the rubbery epoxy crap they coat facemasks with? That might not work so well.

yeah i say you put a coat of primer over it and then do 2-3 coats of the color. then you would have it like you wanted.
