Okay, so two days ago I went down to Lacrosse Unlimited and got fitted for a Cascade CLH2 and it is a small and it fits fine but whenever I take it off it really hurts the side of my head, like it pulls up my sideburns, it's not so painful that I need to put ice on my head or anything but I as just wondering if this is normal because it didn't happen with my old helmet (Stryke Z).

Thanks,
~LAXattackMAN28

My advice, shave your head. You will be amazed at how well things begin to fit and how easily your helmet will come on and off.

the strike Z is one of the worst helmets ever made. period. i have the stryke pro z for my summer team. it sucks. the reason why it doesnt hurt your head is because it isnt form fitting, or very protective.

Mine did that at first, but then it breaks in and it'll be much better.

I have a similar problem but it involves wearing the helmet. When I ever I wear the helmet for a long period of time throught the day (camps, etc.) I always seem to get a huge headache on the right side of my head by my temple. Maybe its because I tend to hit a lot of people helmet to helmet? Or is it becuase the helmet is to small?

Yea, CLH2's are like that. I just go really quickly and rip mine off my head. Like taking off a band-aid.

No, I think the padding right next to the temple is actually a little bit to thick and stiff to break in and give comfort. I've worn mine for two seasons and that part doesnt break in at all. I'm thinking maybe just shave a real slim amount off the part that faces. Not a lot, just a little bit, like millimeters. It would probably improve mustangs and the original posters situation.

save up for a new helmet if nothing works like a cpx

I hate this helmet - Broke the plastic clamps on one and the facemask got crushed into my face - 30 stiches. All for a stupid GB.
