What kind of footwear do you guys use. I use turf shoes, i fell more moblie in them then cleats.

well it all depends on what im playing on. If im playing on grass i use cleats and if im playing on turf i will use cleats or sneakers, it depends on the kind of turf

Depends on the surface. For grass, I use cleats, and for NextTurf or Astroturf I wear turf shoes.

I wear regular sneakers on both the field and in box.

yeah, that's a serious pet peeve of mine when someone says "irregardless"

If it's grass, I'll wear cleats. If it's turf, I'll wear sneaks. If it's field-turf (or gurf, as I've been told) I'll likely wear cleats or basketball shoes, depending on how I am stepping.

I like to use my good old football screw-ins. Good ankle support for all the quick movement and shots in the cage, since every now and then i take one off the foot (broke my toe once). gotta love the screw-ins because you can go from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inch studs for different turf. I like this because I play on the nice turf, mud holes, and nice fields, so I don't feel liek spending like $300 and having 3 or 4 pairs of shoes for lax. On my old HS team, if you didn't have screw-ins, you didn't play.

i use turf shoes mostly because my school has 2 artifical truf fields. I think they are more comfortable then cleats also.

I wear turf because most of the crease is worn down to dirt and cleats stick 1/2 cm off the ground and on real quick shots when i have to take a big step i slip and just fall down
