The other one was closed right away b/c of the ebay link so this is a repost so
I can get more advice on what to do...
I bought a bionic off ebay 6/20 and it just came yesterday. I payed 38 + 8 shipping. The head was stated as new but it came used. The scoop was scratched, the mesh+ shooters had slight dirt stains and the inner side walls were scuffed and had dirt on them. Do you guys think I should report this to ebay and try to get my $ back? If I were to get a refund do you think he would make me send the head back or let me keep it and get my money?
ps- his feedback was 96%

like I said.. just email the seller.. if they don't give you a satisfactory response.. take it up with ebay. BUT make sure you don't use the head!

if you get a refund you have to send back the head.

I think I might try to get the refund and just buy a new one strung the way I like it. This one is factory but, it has a big pocket and doesnt look too bad (didnt use it yet). Or maybe I will just keep it and not go through the hassle to get my $ back and go spend another $10 to get a new one. The average used bionic seems to go for about 30 on ebay and average new is about 40-45...

just checked 42 unstrung 51 strung.
It doesnt look too badly used, the scratches arent that big on the scoop, neither is the mesh. But you can easily tell it was used, maybe just to throw around with, but he said it was new, not slightly used.

well if his feedback is 96. somthin bad was bound to happen. my dad has a rule, he only bids on things with the seller that has a user rating of at least 99.5 or higher. you learned your lesson though. and it is EBAY and all. you cant always expect to get exactly what you were hoping for.

K off topic and i dont mean to steal the thread but this has to be said..
My buddy went to buy a pair of buffalo jeans on ebay for like $75 and this is a really good deal, it said they were 34" so of course, we figured it would be the waist.. it came in the mail and they were 34" in total length! ahaha it was soo funny, but since it never said they were real jeans, he could'nt get money back..
So anyways back on topic, yea if it said new, and you got used, then you should get the refund..

if you like it why take it back? 40$ is a good deal
Leave him negative feedback.

Leave him negative feedback.
Yeah, but he will leave a negative feedback for you, then no one wins because you didn't get your head, and he lost feedback %.
Try to get your refund, unless you think the head is fine. Remember, the head is going to get used, and it will take like 2-3 weeks about until you would get another one.

........but since it never said they were real jeans, he could'nt get money back....
Quick hijack here: My favourite e-bay scam was right after some new "latest and greatest" game system came out. Bids were up to few hundred bucks.
If you read the ad super carefully, you could see that he was only selling the box that his system came in!

just use. a few scratches and a lil dirt wont make the head any worse. Even if you spend a few bucks more and buy a new one your just gonna scratch it up and get it dirty so its pointless to go through the whole processe of returning it etc.

I think I'm just going to use it and leave neg. feedback, maybe fix up the pocket ( it is way to big and It needs the v shooter. Anyone have a tutorial on how to do something like this or string over all together ( I dont feel like paying 30, I already have a head from millon and a p2 I stupidly bought factory to be strung). I dont want to spend 30, but I feel like better spend the $ to get it right instead of being cheap and not using them.

If you're still thinking about getting a refund, which, in my opinion, I think you should, I would try to settle the dispute with him first.
Did you pay with Paypal? If the seller is reluctant to refund your money, you can settle a dispute through Paypal, and in most cases they seem to favor the buyer, so in all likelihood if the product was misrepresented, you'll be able to get your money back.
(I'm pretty sure you overpaid, though)
(And why did it just get to you if the auction ended 6/20. What did you do, send a personal check?)

I'll try to post some pics. I'm leaning towards keeping it, I dont feel like going through the hassle of contacting the guy (he was hard to contact last time), then shipping it back for some minor use. I dont care as much about the use as that I feel scammed...

That's nothing. Keep it and give him positive feedback. He was probably just throwing around with it to make sure the pocket threw well.

It doesn't look too bad. I agree with Riot, he was probably just throwing around with it to see if the pocket threw alright so that it would be better for you.

looks fine but if you want your money back just file a chargeback through paypal. Or you could just dye it and you wouldnt even see the scuff marks.

dude, stop worrying about nothing. i couple of scratches arent going to effect the way the head plays. you still got a decent deal on the head.
