I dyed and strung my eclipse last weekend with hard mesh. I'm still working on making a bag, but my problem is it throws like crap. At first it felt like the ball was releasing WAY too early and the ball went way high and right. I loosened the bottom shooting string and it helped some, I can at least come close to hitting some one 20 ft away, but it still throws horribly :hot: . Any help you guys could give me would be much appreciated. Thanks! If you guys need more pics let me knowand I can post more.

Ok, first off you need to run a string through the mesh on the sides. You also need to go back around the string on the sides, like you did on the bottom two son the right, but not on the rest. (If this is confusing, sorry.)

On to the whip problem: can you show a side-view of the pocket? Without seeing that, it will be difficult to diagnose the problem. One thing I see is that it looks like you ran the bottom string through a row of diamond too far away from the end of the side-string. That's why the mesh is munched up at the bottom.

One thing you might want to consider is that with a bag, it will always be harder to throw with than with a smaller pocket.

The V looks fine (but may be unecessary) but the top two shooters look really weird. How did you do them?

Here's a pic from the side, hope it helps. I'm not sure what you mean about putting a string thorugh the mesh on the sides is there a tutorial or anything you can give me a link to? also how do I make the shooters look better? I noticed they didn't look quite right  This is my first attempt at stringing a goalie pocket so I tried following the directions that came with the stringing kit, should I just take it out and start over?

Yes, definetly. And follow Xeclipse's tutorial, it's in the Tutorial list.
