tlf reunion

i know this would be really hard and i searched to see if there was any other threads on this but i couldn't find anything, just wondering if anyone has ever thought of a tlf reunion i tought it would be kind of sweet

That was a great idea, and was probably tonnes of fun.. One of these days I'll travel for NCAA finals weekend and embarass myself in front of you guys.

Now what a few of us headcases should do is run some pickup ball during NLL All-Star or Championship weekend, or better still, during the Mann Cup final series.

Best chance at meeting a fellow TLFer, if you don't already know them...is to find someone near your hometown, and try to get a pick-up game started, OVER THE PM SYSTEM! Public "hey where are you from" threads are a dime a dozen in the TLF trash can. Those threads get deleted from the second they are posted.

Most people have an idea where they're from in their profiles listed to the left of every post. Check out that, and find someone nearby you, and PM them...get a game started. Let us know how you did, and possibly you'll start a trend.

yeahh that would be awesome..... if tlf did have a reunion we should have it somewhere near the border (syracuse, buffalo) to have a pick up game or w\e. Also if anyone is going to the world field lacrosse championships this summer people could meet there im gunna be there for sure!

i was thinking kind of like a tourny but a pick up game would be awsome too just seems like a long way to travel for one game

world games still have a week to go i believe.

for one thing, we had a hard enough time getting people interested in a pickup game...some responded, some backed out...etc...

2...i doubt TLF would sponsor it due to liabilities etc...

C...would you be willing to pay to cover insurance, and fees for refs, etc to be put on a random team (if we cant get enough for pickup imagine the fiasco of trying to get teams together)...

5...it just doesnt seem to go with the "community" feel of a message board like TLF...i consider TLF a nice community of players who get along pretty well...thus a less competative style is better...
