Now I heard from someone that having gloves that arent their team color is a violation of rules and can get you busted by a ref. I thought that was crap but i would like to clear it up, maybe im wrong.

NCAA rules: gloves must match.

NFHS rules: no mention of glove color.

Local modification of NCAA or NFHS rules: there is no way to tell.

In some HS leagues D1 is matching gear and D2 is matching jerseys its more of a in house rule.

Under 2006 NFHS rules, that's actually not a violation (unless we're talking about visible compression shorts). Under 2006 NCAA rules, it is a technical foul.

well this is kind of close and i don't mean to jack the thread but one game my team was beating this other team something like 19-2 and so the ref started looking for things to call us for, and so he told us that if we wearing an undershirt it had to be tucked into our shorts and if we didn't it would be a technical foul or something like that? is that a rule?

Under NFHS rules, the jerseys must reach the waistband of the shorts and must be tucked in if they go below the waistband.
