How do you cleanly remove a ball stop for dying, then put it back on?

You can't reuse it. You'll need to get another one. I just picked it off with fingers/nails, and scrubbed the glue off with a towel. Goo-gone would probably work too.

Dont use goo-gone or goof-off it melts the ballstop and can melt the head.

i just leave mine on, if u are going to live your head in for a long time like doing a black dye then it will fall off, but if its a short dye then it should stay on, at least mine have

I was able to peel my Warrior ball stop off. There was still some glue on the head but I am still able to use the ball stop again.

I strongly recommend NOT using it again. Pick it off with your fingers, then use Goo-Gone to get all the sticky glue. Then, get a stringing kit (I recommend Jimalax), and string it, then put the new one on. It's illegal to not have a ball stop, so use it.

Wht would you not recommend using it again? Is there a possibility that it may fall off during a game?

Yes. Because you take all the stickiness off.

Use a blowdryer to heat up the glue and it should peel right off. Then dye the head and the ballstop should still be sticky and put it back on. I always reuse the ballstop.
