I don't play goalie, but my question has to do with one.

My neighbor is 11 years old, and plays goalie. He has never played in a league, only in various clinics and pick-up games. He told me that he wants to go out for the high school team in two years.

He's decent, his reflexes are pretty good.

How can I help him get ready?
Is there anything besides just taking shots on him that I can do?

well if he has a good stance and he steps to the ball and knows his zones he should be good for the high school level taking shots and getting him ready for taking shots is the best way.
