last night i was shooting on my goal at home when i took an akward lefty shot, compensating for a sprained and/or fracture(the doc said it was either fractured or sprained) that i did cross-checking someone two months ago. i felt it pop and i had intense, and i mean intense pain. btw i have a high pain tolerance level. it hurts to move it and i went to work to day and could barely lift anything. what do you think is wrong?

ya i believe that would be a dislocation if not your shoulder maybe your collar bone...im not a doctor, and i would bet at least 95% of us are not so i would go to see a real one and get an expert opinion before next season. best of luck

You probably sprained it. I did that in preseason this year and had to go to the hospital. It hurt like hell. Basically I couldn't move my right arm at all. I actually still have slight pain in my shoulder. There's a high tech doctor name for it like dislocation of the _____ (one of the smaller muscles or something in the shoulder) but they just called it a sprain.

GO TO THE DOCTOR
TLF is not a substitute for medical advice. my shoulders are trashed from playing lax (we werent required to wear shoulder pads back then)
get it taken care of now, dont wait

Yes go to the doctor but If its a horrible pain instantly it probubly is not opening more of the fracture or something because when you do something to a bone like that your pain receptors in that area are numbed sorta of you could say and you feel more pain later than instantly.
