Does being in a club team like an all-star team or a team that has multiple teams put together. Like in Long Island, New York there is Team Long Island. Do those teams help to get scholarships and get into better collages??? Thanks in advance.

umm well its more that with teams like that or elite club teams you play a lot of tournaments or team recruiting camps and you get seen more so yes i guess it helps with getting seen by coaches.

I have heard that it is the club team/camps that give you the most exposure to college coaches and the high school season is not AS important as it was years ago.

Many times there are a lot of coaches at the "club" tournaments and camps. Meaning that you are being seen by more coaches and then giving yourself a better chance at getting recruited. Basically, the more you get involved in lacrosse, the greater a chance you have at getting recriuted, scholarships, etc.

Club/elite teams do not garuntee you a scholorship. They do, however, provide you with more exposure. What you make of that exposire will determine who you will be recruited by and possibly, if you're good enough, how much $$ you get. But, just because you're are or aren't on a club/elite team, doesn't mean that you will or won't get recruited. Coaches want talent regardless of where they see it from, they just have to know where to look, so it's up to you to let them know you're out there. Club/elite teams just provide more opportunites to be watched, but if you don't tell a coach ahead of time that you will be at a certain tourney with your club team, it won't really help you anyways because they won't be looking for you.
