Hey guys i found this article on badjocks.com and thought i would share it with you. I dont the article should of mentioned him having anything to do with being a lax coach since it didnt involve the school or the players, i think they just added that in b/c of the whole Duke thing to make lax players look even worse. But the coach does look a bit scary.

I hate how they can't just say a guy is facing charges, or youth coach faces charges. They have to make it connected to lax, it just makes me really mad.

I do not think its correct for the article to be titled "Lacrosse coach faces three felonies" and for the article to the end saying that the to have no real connection to the team or sport in a way. It could have been titled "Divorced Man faces felonies" or "Father faces charges". All the media is trying to do is to hype up a story using lacrosse which is no way related to the charges. It make me sick to read articles like these because of the fact that its giving lacrosse a bad image.

What's the problem? We have an accused felon who happens to coach lacrosse. Articles like this often include a character sketch of the accused, especially when it's this type of story.
Think about it, you have a guy who coaches high-school aged kids and molests a high-school aged girl. It's important to identify that he coaches HS aged kids. If you identify him as a coach, the obvious question that also needs answering is "what sport?". This is all relevant, and the article didn't bash lacrosse.
Geez, "lacrosse" only appeared three times in the whole article, one of those times in the title, and as a way to identify the accused......how much can they destroy lacrosse's reputation if they only refer to it twice?
Kids, I suggest saving complaints for something that matters.
