I wanna add some weight before next lax season. I have been lifting weights consistently every other day, and eating a lot and running, but no matter how much I eat I can't seem to gain any weight. I wanna try to go on some protein shakes, but I have no idea what kind to get and what to mix the powder with (milkshake, milk, smoothie??), lol I pretty much have no clue what I'm doing. I searched and couldn't find anything, so if anyone has any recommendations or knows a thread that discusses this topic please post. thanks a lot.

Eat junk food. It tastes better than protein shakes and has more calories; plus it's cheaper. You have to work out like a maniac though, otherwise you might have some trouble and gain the wrong kind of weight. I used to drink protein shakes, then I switched to junk food and gained weight that I never saw when I was downing shakes. And it wasn't fat, either.
