Instead of throwing around with someone, you can throw off a brick or cement wall and catch the ball when it returns to improve your skills. It's one of the best excersizes to do when your just beginning, and want to develop better throwing/catching skills.

Quoted for emphasis.
When one wants to improve their throwing/catching skills a wall is your best friend.
Work on both your left and right hands equally. Develop them together.

when you start getting board, start throwing it behind the back off the wall. or an easy way without a wall is to toss it behind your back and catch it. and then ty through your legs. it might sound stupid but it works

there's nothing wrong with throwing with a buddy, cause then you have the chance to work on 1 v 1s and can get feedback, but there is nothing wrong with the wall either

There is nothing wrong with the wall it is your best friend. Having a catch with a friend is also very good. However the most important thing you need to learn is to pick up a ball that is on the ground, if you can do this you will dominate games on any level.

Come down to the fields located at Basse and McCullough (near the Rusty Lion baseball fields) on Sunday evenings for some summer ball. The league is open for 16 and 17 years olds with a waiver if you want to play and adults over 18. If you don't want to play, someone will be there to throw with you.
