So, Im going to buy some jima mesh, but I dont know what length strings I need and , what are your prefferences on Traditional mesh ,10,12, or14 D mesh.

never used tradit. Best out of those three is 12d in my opinion.

I like 20d, and 10d personally...The 2 extremes...Also, probably 4 feet per sidewall.. You'll have some left over, but...its better to go too long than too short.

If you order a mesh kit from jima, they have sidewall cut out already. Im a fan of 12 and 20d myself. :agree:

12d is the way to go. I have used hard mesh 20d monster and 12. 12 is my favourite, and for sidewall i ordered spools so I will always have some.

i prefer 12d and 20d also and AM17 is right about 4 feet per sidewall

12d and 20d are my favourite. u should buy a spool. its a better deal and i use topstring from jima for sidewall b/c regular sidewall always broke for me. give it a try u might like it.

id buy a couple, saves buying again and again. plus you have some just incase

I like to buy 2-3 mesh pieces at once, but that's just because I always like a backup.

i always buy 2 pieces of 12d and 2 of 20d along with a spool. its the safest way of doing it so ull always know ull have it if u rip something. (and u might get a little surprise when u open the box)

i personally like 17D(traditional) and 20D. I dont like the feel of 12D for some reason. it just feels akward.
