I think this is what your asking but this is the general conversation. Hope this is what you need.

a = 4 89.5%+

b= 3 79.5 % to 89

c= 2 69.5 to 79

d= 1 59.5% to 69

f= 0 anything from 59% or beloew

yeah, like shocker said.

A+ = 4.3

A = 4.0

A- = 3.7

B+ = 3.3

B = 3.0

B- = 2.7

C+ = 2.3

C = 2.0

C- = 1.7

D+ = 1.3

D = 1.0

D- = 0.7

F = 0.0

and as far as percents go, that all depends on the grading scale of your school.

even the gpa depends on the school. And youve got ap classes.

correct me if i'm wrong, but at most schools gpa only goes up to 4

EDIT: Never mind, i thought you were talking about college. in high school it is totally different from school to school. at my school it went all the way up to 6.

The scale differs from school to school, but is most often 0 to 4, or 0 to 4.3, or 0 to 4.33.

Other than that, the one thing I know about grade points is that they're quite possibly the stupidest scale ever invented. Why express something as a fraction of 4/4.3/4.33 when you can more easily express it out of 100?

These answers are awesome thanks guys. But anyways this fall I will be goign to the University of Manitoba, and I will be going into engineering. The thing that confuses me is that in the entrance requirements to get into the faculty, it says must maintain a 2.0 GPA and must not have a grade less than a 'C'. So this is where im getting confused lol. Any ideas

Means you must basically have a 'c' average and not get a 'd' or worse.
