Crosse must be 40"-42" (short stick) or 52"-72" (long pole), overall length. There is no rule regarding length of shaft or head taken alone, only as a unit.
what does this mean. is it legal for it to be 30' for an attack shaft. n how long r they usually. mods plz only close this thread when my question is answered. ty and i did read all of the stickeys.

The head has to be at least 10 inches, so by the simple process of subtraction you can devise that the shaft must then be 30 to 32 inches or 42 to 62

Bad logic. The open part of the head must be at least 10 inches. In principle, you could have a stick with a 30" head and an 11" shaft.
Also, the open part of the head must be at least 10", but the overal head will be longer than that, but then the shaft inserts into the head. Bottom line, the only thing that matters is the overall length of the stick when assembled.
