Questionable call

i was playing attack and i had just came in for a quick shot and the goalie saved it well the goalie made a quick clear to midfield then his defender slide across the middle and blind sided me right to the floor and i asked the ref if that was illegal and he said it was perfectly do you think this was an illegal check

Perhaps if you could rewrite this in English with a little more description of what occurred - we might be able to give an opinion. Based on the ref saying it was a perfectly legal hit - I'm good with that for right now.
If you were within 5 yds of a loose ball/pass, and he blindsided (but legally checked) you from the side as opposed to the rear - that would OK in my book. Keep your head up.

I agree that this might be easier to parse if it were written in sentences. It sounds like you're asking about box; not so many of us know box rules here, but as LF25 points out it probably matters who had possession, if anyone, and where the ball was relative to you.

I can tell this was almost spoken in today's high school english dialect because it was all said at once without taking a breath, but it wasn't the true high school english because it didn't include, "like, well...yeah, but no, see it was like...".

I have a teenage son and daughter, and I have ALMOST learned to understand the language.
