I played A LOT of lacrosse yesterday for the first time in like 2 weeks & an injury I thought was gone came back strong..I took 2 excedrin migraine(sp?) for the pain & it still hurts a bit...I was wondering if anyone could give me a link/briefly tell me how to wrap it...I searched on google & the only hits I got either didn't seemt o help at all or used very big words that I couldn't comprehend....Any help is greatly appreciated for at this exact time 1 week from now I'll be in Annapolis for the extended position camp  .... :concerned just hope I can minimize the thumb pains

Uhm...okay? So are you telling the story or asking a question or what? I don't get what this thread is about...but hey do what you like, at least youre not asking someone to make up a workout for you.

Haha Ya sorry I guess I wasn't very clear...I was hoping for some advice on wrapping my thumb...I don't have a trainer to do it for me & every time I pick up my stick it gives me problems...Its not too bad to the point where I can't hitt he wall but when I start hitting I want to have it wrapped up...SO with that said can anyone give me tips/send me a link that might help?I think I'm supposed to like wrap tape around my wrist then around the base of my thumb for support but I don't really know...I was thinking maybe an injuries sticky would be good just for things like this...Since people are always like oh I hurt my leg what should I do or I sprained this what should I do?

Don't get caught fighting with taped hands....that's a match penalty where I come from!

I haven't done this in a long while, but follow me.
Start on your thumb, once around your thumb, then like 2 or 3 times around your wrist, then back up like 2-3 or 4 times around your thumb. Then you make an X around the palm of your hand, like one wrap under the base of your thumb then one wrap up top (between your thumb and index finger). Make that X like 3 times then you can go over your thumb again if its not stiff enough.

i have bone frament in my thumb so i have to get it taped usually, i do this same thing except my trainer added a piece of foam right over the spot where the fragments are.

I'm kind of slow can you explain that again...I don't get where the whole x part is coming in to play...I was doing it like the first part of your post said going around my thumb then around my wrist but that wasn't working very well so if you could explain that again & tell me when I wrap should my palm be facing up or down so I don't do this backwards
Thanks a lot
edit:i got it..thanks for the input i think ima just have to grit my teeth & bare it it's kidn of annoyin to have such a restriction...I didn't realise how much i used my thumb til I was unable to move it
