I think most of you say the saracuse Vs Umass or atleast saw mike powells flip. I was just wondering what you guys thought about it. I thought it was pretty cool and i think he was right. I think it is expanding he game of lacrosse. That was just my opinion. What do you think. Cool or do you think it was showing off and he was tring to be ****ey.?

Eh... kinda cool yet show-offy at the same time. I think he'd be an even better player if he didn't try some of the flashy things, like when he completely missed an empty net because he tried a behind-the-back shot last game.

yea but then again thats what hes known for...and thats y people know his name. i havent seen the flip if its on the net somewhere and someone wants ta find it thatd be grand. i think its cool, but only cuz its powell. if it were some other player i think it woulda been bad...i feel bad for the goalie. lol

I thought it was rather bush league, don't really see how it was supporting or helping lax grow...it only made espn because it was showboating. Kind of hard to think it was his intention to support lax now that he missed the draft deadline for the MLL.

I don't think Bush League players are capable of that. I think it was cool, and probably got some fans to get back into the game.

the only thing i think was bad about it was they were already killin the other team. it kinda makes him look like an *******. if they had jus scored in the last minute to pull ahead n that was like right before buzzer thatd be cool but in the context i can see where people get offended

I think it is sick, if i could do it i would and so would almost everybody else would as well. If i can do something that nobody else does i do it and if i can score in a creative way i do it as well(around the world etc). It was chill and got lax some exposure

he didn't score in a creative way... ok I could go out in the middle of the field and start dancing for 5 seconds, then run full speed at the goal and shoot... that's not a very creative way to score.

i dont know why so many people are against it...i mean its not like he blew a good shot in a crucial game or anything. maybe the hype from the media was alittle much, i think he just planned for it to be something fun to pull in an easy game. plus, it got alot of exposure for college lax and lax in general.

it's just respect for the other team man... you have to see it from the other team's perspective...

it's kinda like when your at a little league game and you cheer when the opposing pitcher throws 4 balls. It's great that your guy got on base, but it makes the pitcher feel bad...

yea true... on the team i coach we blow teams away. 16-1, 13-1 are some of our biggest wins. but usually if we're up by 7 in the first half, the girls have to make 5 completed passes before they can shoot (they're in 5-6th grade) its just respect for the other team.... if you were down by 20 points, and you heard the other coach yelling "put one more in! shoot it!" wouldn't you be like ok.. shut up, you're already winning...

yeah, a team was beating us 14-8 and their coach was still screaming his head off at them, yelling at them that they needed to do better, etc. etc.
