If you play on a box or club team you could play college.

Just do summer leagues and then if your good enough some good d1, d2, or d3 colleges may come and pick ya up.

I live in Indianapolis, Indiana and lacrosse is a up and coming sport around here. There are many teams (schools (prep), clubs) most of my friends say I have potential to play college lacrosse more like at the d3 or d2 level. I have great grades and iv already had a newspaper article written about me in Indianas major newspaper (about lacrosse) . What are my chances of getting recruited out of Indiana. Please post opinions and tips or just anything, thanks :agree:

Slim, unless you go to showcase camps or play on a travel team. But if you only play for your high school my guess is slim.

Ya being the ebst player on your high school team for ANY sport really doesn't mean much anymore. It helps if you're like the #1 team in state but if your not on a BIG NAME team then it doesn't matter...Get yourself out there & tell the college coaches you're interested

theres gotta be box clubs around if you live in canada and Im sure theres other camps and stuff you just gotta look

BUt to answer your question no. You just have to work amazingly hard and be a great athlete.

Difficult your path is, but impossible it is not :agree:

Hey im a rising junior on a lacrosse team that is going varsity for the first year this upcoming year, the last two years we were a club team and won the club team league championship, so my question is that what should i do to get my name out there since this is my first year of exposure my junior year and everyones saying you should be done by the end of junior year, what should i do?

The best thing you can do now for college is study.

??

How do you study for college? You can study for high school, to get into college, but this a recruiting forum.

This is the best recruiting advice anyone will ever give you. The better your grades the more options you will have in choosing a school where you can play lacrosse, if you want to. More and more coaches are looking for players with good grades. If sookelaxkid doesn't know the difference between "know" and "no" his choices of colleges will be very limited.
P.S. You study "in" high school not "for" high school

Also make sure in the future you make contact with college coaches send them highlight vidoes etc.

Unless you play for a boy's latin or school on that level your chances of getting recruited out of high school are slim. You need to play on elite teams and go to tournaments and recuiting camps if you want to be found. It doesn't just happen you need to make it happen. As far as not having a high school team near you not a big deal play box and get nasty then go to some recruiting showcases and stuff. American colleges love candadian box players because of their stick skills.
