Well, So far this summer I've gone running and stuff. But I found a gym I can go to for the next month or so before pre season. I wanted to know how much can happen in a month. And whats the best method.
I was planning on running and doing cardio everyday and going to the gym and alternate between the upper and lower body everyday.
So my question is it enough time to give a day for the upper and lower bodies to recover? And also, if i should work on speed(sprints) and cardio(distance running) back to back, or even on the same day.

Thanks. =]

It all depends on how hard you work, what you do, genetics etc. No one can tell you what might happen in a month exactly, but you will start to see some change. In an ideal situation you would have started earlier, because a month is not a lot of time.
But it will most definately be better than doing nothing at all, so do it up. An upper/lower split is fine for a couple weeks if you are just starting out but after that I'd look into a more complex split if you are looking to go somewhere strength wise.
