Look at the head in the top left. I think that is a little thin for field play.

(Seriously, yes, those are probably legal for this tournament. Minimum head width for international lacrosse is 4".)

yes canada can use box heads for the World Championships
so anyone can play with 4 inch heads??? Wow why didnt the U.S.?

My guess is that the Canadians are mostly box players so tey use their box heads. So what if they use pinched heads.

There are advantages to having a pinched head vs a non-pinched head. I'm sure there are canadian players that don't have a head pinched right down to the 4" limit as well as american players that do have sticks pinched similar to those in the pictures. Don't assume every canadian is using a super pinched stick and that every american is using sticks at their factory width. Different strokes for different folks.

On the sidelines of the MLL vs Team USA All-Star game, I spotted several players using EXTREMELY pinched Protons and a number of STX Heat's. So yes, they can use it.

because they'd be so used to catching with the wide heads they use, that they drop every pass because the head was narrower

they can and i cant wait til i go up tryout for the BILL in a few years so i can use my heat and 4.5 pinched phantom legally. or when i go to germany for a year after college and play in any league i can find. i love my PINCHED heads soooooo much
