Goalie Similarities?

I've heard of this but I want to test it out. Do goalies have similar tastes and personalities? Do you guys like to sing and dance and be sociable? Or are you shy? I know we're the best with the ladies so I won't even ask that :naughty:. I know music tastes vary but I like classic rock, what about you? Do you like to eat enormous(sp?) amounts of food, or do you eat like a bird? Lets see if we're all alike

Im very sociable, Im a Rock n' Roll kind of guy, I usually eat a normal amount of food. Sometimes a huge amount, sometimes just a little.

I will talk to people if I need to but otherwise I will stay quiet. On the field, I will be talking to my defense about random things or just be talking with some of the attack.

I used to listen to rock but then I stopped. I now listen to religous stuff.

Food depends on my mood. Sometimes I will eat a lot but other times I will eat nothing or just a small amount.

I listen to Rock and Roll. And I too, find myself eating either alot or just nothing/small amount. I like to keep to myself most of the time however-- the rest of my team will be yelling and screaming and talking but I'll be pretty chill on the bus ride home.

I listen to rock too. I'm pretty quiet around new people unless im making a joke. On the field I'm loud either talking tomy team or the other attack. On the bus I usually just chill and break out the ipod.

and i dont really talk to the ppl i dont really know
i make a fool of myself in my comfort zone of friends

i listen to rock and almost anything out there. my ipod goes from dragonforce and wolfmother to 50 cent and chamillionaire to Dane Cook and Robin Williams. I ususally dont eat a lot, but can if there's something on the line. I've become more outgoin since i began playin lax, but im not a huge talker and will keep to myself a lot of the time.

I scream/yell/sing along to every song that I know even one line of, I bring on the mosh and am the master of slam dancing...I'm shy at first but if you know me there's no shutting me up...even though I'm only 17 I've already met the love of my life...I listen to hardcore, post-hardcore, screamo, emo, folk-indie...I rarely eat at all, I survive off cheez-its, food from friends, and caffine

Umm, well, I am different than most of you... I usually don't talk much to others (however I am vocal on the field). Singing, not so much. Playing a musical instrument, sure. Dancing, only with my girlfriend. I like most music. I listen to metal, rock, and a lot of stuff from the 80's. I don't like much rap, though. And, I don't eat extreme amounts of food. But, I can if needed! :thumbsup:

A lot of people think I'm really weird, because I'm a goalie. I'm usually pretty chill, except when I'm watching/playing lax. Quiet off the field, loudest voice on it. As for food, I can eat a lot, but I usually burn it off running (yea, I'm really messed up in the brain) since I ran Cross Country along with playing Lacrosse in HS. I listen to just about anything in the music world, I'll listen to anything at least once, though some of it really is crap and makes me want to shoot myself in the face.

im a chill guy off the field, but when i get on the field everything changes. Ill go crazy, ive even gotten so outta control ive knocked my defenders on the ground to "pump them up." But off the field im one of the more quiet guys, which most of my teammates think makes me strange, as all goalies are.

If, theoretically, all goalies are the same, does this apply to other positions. Are defensemen just big meat-heads in search of blood and one day will land in a state penitentiary? Are attackmen all a bunch of spoiled kids who like to score because it will help them with the ladies (even though everyone knows that is not true)? Are midfielders just wanderers in search of a clique? These are lacrosse's eternal social questions.

I listen to classic rock mostly.
I dont talk too much near people im not too close with...people are always amazed at how much i yell on the field, since i barely talk other than that (Except with friends and whatnot).
I eat Normal amounts...Sometimes if im really hungry i can eat a decent bit...
I sing, and play guitar, bass, and drums. Also, im in 2 different bands. 1 band=Sing/guitar ... 2nd band=Drums. (when playing i do tend to get a bit wild...)

Also, as stated before. We goalies do get all the ladies.

i can't shut up sociable around my friends. in net i won't shut up and when i have no one to talk to i'll start humming then singing my favorite rock song at the time. i eat too much when i'm hungry and eat more later

I spend the majority of my time listening to or playing music. I'm into a lot of Indie, although I'm a big fan of ska, reggae, some classic punk, and of course the Dead and Phish. I'm pretty sociable when I want to be, but honestly I'd rather be sitting in my room playing guitar than hanging out with most people. I yell a lot on the field. I eat an average amount of food for the most part except of course when I'm starving or there's delicious food. I get a lot of attention from ladies just from hanging out with a lot of older kids because not a lot of people my age around here have the same tastes as me and when kids have bonfires I usually end up playing guitar and maybe singing a song or two for everyone.
